Using the key number indicated as cabinet key on the packing list, insert into cabinet lock and turn ¼ turn to the right. The lock should pop out about half way. Insert the key in the bottom lid lock and turn ¼ turn to the right, swing the door open.

Using the key number indicated as vault key on the packing list, insert into vault lock and turn ¼ turn to the right and hold while pulling upward to open the door. Hold door in fully open position while retrieving the plug attached to the chain from the inside of the vault. Insert the plug in the hole in the vault top to hold the door open.

Hold the bottom lid out of the way and slide the open vault into the bottom of the cabinet with the plug hole on the same side as the cabinet lock, vault door to back. When vault is flush with bottom, push in the cabinet lock and turn left ¼ turn, this will push the plug out and hold the vault in place. Close the bottom lid and lock in place with the lid lock.

To remove the vault, first unlock and open the bottom lid, remove the key from the lid lock and unlock the side cabinet lock. Be sure to place your free hand under the vault and push up gently to relieve the pressure on the cabinet lock, when the lock pops out the vault will be free and slide from the cabinet. As the vault is removed, the door will automatically close and lock before the vault clears the cabinet.
