F-1 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Open the Cabinet Lock located on the outside of the Fare Box under the inspection
plate handle and leaves the key in the lock

Take the Vault and open the lock located on the back door and leave the key in the lock.

Open the door completely and tilt the vault forward on the handle, this will help you see
 inside the vault.

1-Reach in and pull down on the Latch Pin located on the front interior of the vault.

2-While holding down the latch pin slide the vault trap door towards the rear of the unit.
This is a spring loaded door so until you have operated this several times it may seem
difficult to do.  There is a finger pull that has been mounted on the bottom of the trap door
to assist you in opening.  Open the trap door completely.  If the trap door does not open
completely then slide the plunger knob located on the side of the trap door know towards
the center of the vault.

3-On the side under the trap door is a plunger knob; push the knob to the outside and it will
hold open the trap door.

4-Close and lock the Vault, remove the key.

5-Slide the Vault into the front of the Fare Box and it will stop against the back and in position.

6-Push in the Cabinet Lock and lock the vault into position.  Remove the key from the lock.

7-The unit is now ready for service.

To remove the vault, simply unlock the cabinet lock and the vault door will automatically close
and the vault can be removed.
